"Happy to recommend this agency to anyone."
- Mrs Abigail Tan, Bukit Panjang
"I have no regrets using CampusTutors as they truly screen their tutors for the necessary qualifications they each claim to have. Hence it is truly in a class of its own. My tutor turned up on the first day of lessons with his supporting documents and his identification card for verification. CampusTutors will set the standards for other tuition agencies to follow."

Accuracy and up-to-date database
It is up to individual responsibility to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

Be honest about all information entered in the database.

We CampusTutors reserve the right to expel tutors with poor integrity from our database.

Punctuality
Be punctual for all lessons, especially the first lesson. First impression counts. Look up the location of your student's address in the street directory, prior to your first lesson. Client may have given CampusTutors the incorrect address.

In the event that you are late for your lesson, please politely inform your student about it in order to maintain a professional working attitude.

Your student has the rights to terminate your service if you have been late for 3 consecutive lessons. Being caught in a heavy rain or a heavy traffic is never a good excuse for being late.

Confidentiality
The information you provide in the registration form is kept strictly confidential to CampusTutors. CampusTutors takes your privacy very seriously. Click here to view our Privacy Policy.

Likewise, we do not disclose the contact numbers of the students to our tutors, prior to the first lessons. All tutors are supposed to exchange contact numbers with the students on their first lessons.

Payment of Commission
With every successful assignment, the student will pay us 50% commission after the 2nd week of commencement of tuition, and pay you the remaining 50% after the first one month of tutoring.

You will subsequently be paid the full month's tuition fee directly from the parents of your student in your arranged manner.

Lessons which are postponed during the first 4 weeks will not affect the commission.
For Example: For a month of 8 lessons, if 1 lesson was cancelled due to any reason (eg. holiday), commission will still be based on 8 lessons and not 7 lessons.

Once the invoice has been sent to the student, and payment has been settled, any dispute over commission charges will not be entertained.

* Any attempt to cheat or deprive CampusTutors of her legal share of commission will result in legal actions being taken. This is our administration fee and is therefore non-negotiable.

Delay of Lesson
a) If the first month of tuition has not been fulfilled, tutor is not allowed to get another person to replace him/her. However, please inform the student if you are unable to make it, and offer a replacement of lesson within the next 7 days.

b) Student has the rights to terminate a tuition assignment with the tutor if tutor is unable to attend a lesson for two consecutive weeks. Ensure that your school timetable and your daily schedule do not crash with the day and time of the tuition assignment, which you are applying for.

c) If you are sick and unable to turn up for your first lesson, do produce a medical certificate in order to secure a sense of trust between you and your student. Your first lesson is the lesson on which your student judges you the most. CampusTutors only accept official medical certificate or other official proof as an excuse for postponing lesson.

Student has the legal rights to ask for a medical certificate from you in the event that you are unable to turn up for subsequent lesson due to sickness.

Termination/Cancellation of Assignment
a) In the event where you are unable to attend the tuition, prior notice of 24 hours before the lesson time, must be given to the student as well as to CampusTutors. This is only applicable for the first month of lessons after which, any dealings would be solely between parent and tutor.

If you fail to notify and provide a valid reason (eg: medical certificate) of your cancellation, your registration as a tutor with CampusTutors will be revoked and an administrative charge of 50% of the first month tuition fee will be imposed.

b) The minimum commitment period is 1 month. In the event where you terminate an assignment within the first month, CampusTutors will recover her legal share of commission of 50% of the first month tuition fee from you.

c) If the first month of tuition has not been fulfilled, tutor is not allowed to get another person to replace him/her.

d) In the event that your tuition assignment is terminated by the student during the first two weeks of lessons, you will not receive any salary. The amount of commission will not be affected by lesson postponement or cancellation due to any reason. If the customer cancels the assignment before 4 weeks of lessons are completed, and contacts you personally, you are still liable for 50% commission for a total of 4 weeks of given lessons. When such situation occurs, you are obligated to let CampusTutors know immediately. Any attempt to keep it from us is considered cheating.

e) In the event that you have been terminated by your client, never argue with your student, your student's parents or CampusTutors. Understand that your client possesses the full legal rights to terminate your tuition service if your student does not understand your style of teaching. CampusTutors will not ask for further explanation from the client.

Tutor's Conduct
Tutor is expected to be a matured adult who is able to teach and also work well with other people. Tutor should not have bad habit like being consistently late for lessons, having improper dressing, demonstrating poor commitments, or being inattentive during lesson.

Assurance
Tutor bears the responsibility of double-checking with the student or CampusTutors for the confirmation of tuition lesson on the day of lesson itself. Take note that client may be absent minded about the time of tuition and it is best to call the student a few hours before travelling down for lesson.
